Here we have a lovely "driver" quality MGA with some sensible modifications designed to improve the driving experience. The current owner Purchased the car in 2013 from Vancouver Island, where it had received a sympathetic cosmetic restoration of the body and interior. Next, a rebuilt early five bearing motor with cross flow intake, supplied by twin SU carbs was installed, coupled to a four speed Moss gearbox. A new wiring harness, Petronix ignition and Flame Thrower coil setup were installed, to provide reliable everyday operation. To complement the mechanical modifications a shorter "sports racer" windscreen from Ragtops & Roadsters was installed and a Motolita steering wheel was added. The car rides on wire wheels with modern tires. The cabin heater has been removed, though the car has a tonneau for those drives in crisp morning air. The engine rebuild has approximately 8,000kms of enjoyment on it. A search of the vehicle history indicates the car was delivered to BC from new.
